Our series of working lunch parties, continued this week as we invited Claire Taylor to discuss her role as Producer of Bedtime Stories for CBBC.
Claire always knew she wanted to work with both children and within the creative arts industry, stating ‘Be who you want to be’ as a quote to help. Claire began her career at the BBC as a runner, enjoying work experience and building her skills, before moving on to work alongside Mr Tumble, Cbeebies House and to most recently, produce and direct Bedtime Stories.
Our students were given a vast array of information relating to the role and opportunities available in the creative industries, in particular working in TV, ranging from Producer, Director, Camera Operator, Sound Technician, Presenter and Runner/Researcher.
