This year will be our Achievement Team’s third CLASSFest, focusing on occupations and industries linked to Creative, Language, Arts and Social Studies subjects.
Our CLASSFest is organised as a ‘speed networking’ careers event to help our students meet and talk with a wide range of invited professionals and guests. Among the guests were an Architect, an Archivist, Archaeologist and Civil Servant. We also welcomed visitors from the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and SKY, as well as, a Drama specialist, a TV and FIlm producer, Social media and Marketing experts and 3rd year students of Criminology and Sociology! With each meeting lasting only 5 minutes, our students are encouraged to maximise their time by thinking about what information they would like to learn and to prepare questions accordingly.
This fast paced and fun event provides numerous learning opportunities for our students to gather knowledge and new ideas about the future career and working pathways.
