Image of CHS Nominated for two Educate Awards 2019!

We are incredibly proud to announce our recent shortlisting in the Educate Awards 2019.

The Educate Awards celebrate ‘the excellence of schools in Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire and Greater Manchester’, and we are excited to have been shortlisted for not one, but two awards!

The Community Partnership Award nomination marks the school’s commitment to our local community and Arts partnerships which see our students’ passionate involvement in social action and creative projects across all Year groups.

The WOW Recognition Award is to recognise ‘outstanding performance, success and achievement in 2018-2019’; for school with the ‘wow’ factor!

A huge achievement, and fantastic reward for our amazing team here at Chorlton High School who strive every day to enable and create inspiration learning and experiences for our students and Chorlton community. We are incredibly honoured to be one of only four schools shortlisted for the award across the region. Wow indeed!

‘2019 has once again seen an unprecedented number of entries and the quality across all categories has once again really impressed our judges, making it a very tough decision-making process. Whittling down to a final shortlist has been even more difficult this year’.

The prestigious Educate Awards 2019 ceremony and gala dinner will take place on the evening of Friday 15th November at Liverpool Cathedral, a group of students and staff will represent the school and are extremely excited to attend the awards presentation.

We look forward to reporting back soon on this fantastic evening!
