We are incredibly proud to announce that three of our Year 11 students, Callum Fookes, Luke Roche and Tom Roche, were recently selected to represent GBR at the Under 17 Water Polo LEN European Championship Qualifiers.

The three-day tournament took place over the recent Bank Holiday (3-5th May 2019) and was incredibly popular. Water Polo fans, families and friends all travelled to the Manchester Aquatic Centre to cheer GBR on, providing excellent support as team competed at this high level.
After three hard fought games the U17 GBR team unfortunately did not qualify for the next stage of the tournament, but each player showed incredible effort and endeavour to experience some magical personal moments and three excellent performances to be proud of!
Each of our students competed brilliantly, exemplifying perfectly our school ‘Qualities of Success’, Motivation, Practice and Resiliency, as they represented themselves, CHS and Great Britain so brilliantly! They will now look to use this same ethos and dedication as they return to CHS to take on their next big challenge, beginning their GCSEs.
