Math Ambassadors

Enrichment clubs offer students a fantastic way to go further with their learning, try something new, or to take on new and exciting roles.

Our SPARX Math club, is run by our student Math Ambassadors (MAs) as a way for fellow learners to engage with their studies in a peer-to-peer environment. As a club it has been both incredibly successful and supportive, with members making progress and improvement.

Upon taking their roles, MAs have received individualized inhouse leadership training and SSAT (Schools, Students and Teachers Network) training. As their confidence grows, they have helped in afterschool class as Teaching Assistants, and most recently, delivered lessons to excited Year 5 and 6 mathematicians from local primary schools - Chorlton CofE, Chorlton Park and Oswald Road.
