As a hub of innovation, it positions itself at the cutting edge of tech, welcoming industry leader Microsoft to collaborate on a range of specialist growth programmes and is an ideal space for young people to enrich their learning journey.

A delegation of Year 8 Chorlton High students was invited to HOST for an exclusive Microsoft outreach event to experience ultramodern industry technology and gaming equipment. This immersive workshop introduced the stunning Hololens 2, a state-of-the-art mixed reality platform, developed to enable and engage young minds to ‘Act with precision’, ‘Collaborate without boundaries’, and ‘Innovate with confidence’. Minecraft coding and cyber security activities opened further opportunities to build skills and knowledge.

Through our Careers Education, Information Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) taster opportunities Chorlton High ignites ideas and passions in our young people, fostering a solid foundation of career options to help nurture the next generation of tech-savvy professionals and global changemakers.
