We welcomed Colin and Matthew from 'Prison, A Reality' to deliver a hard hitting presentation, for our Year 8 and 9 students, as part of our ongoing RESPECT programme.
Drawing upon their long and varied careers within the Prison Service, they shared their experiences and insights on what life is actually like for prisoners behind bars. Sadly, they understand that going to prison can often be glamorised in the media and their work aims to dispel this false interpretation. Their programme supports students to develop a socially aware and positive life whilst also building the skills to help make the right choices when faced with difficult scenarios.
