Image of Applications now open! Teacher Subject Specialism Training (TSST) in Mathematics

Chorlton High School is delighted to offer accredited Teacher Subject Specialism Training (TSST ) in Mathematics to all qualified teachers. The purpose of teacher subject specialism training is to improve the subject knowledge of non-specialist teachers and those looking to return to the teaching profession.

Over recent years Chorlton High School have celebrated excellent results in Mathematics. This is due to the highly skilled and experienced staff we employ and our strong links with external agencies including North West Maths hubs and the Joint Mathematics Council of the United Kingdom. The TSST programme at CHS is therefore led by our highly experienced staff, SLES and accredited by the external agencies we work with. We also understand that teaching a non-specialist subject or returning to teaching can be daunting which is why our specially designed programme is informative but also personalised to individual needs, allowing all participants, no matter their experience or confidence, to develop.
