Recently, CHS was delighted to host the Collaborative TEACH Meet for the city. There were over 20 stalls led by Manchester teachers showcasing the most exciting and important aspects of pedagogy across the city. Representatives from 14 schools joined us to celebrate all things ‘teaching and learning’. Colleagues from across the city had the opportunity to discuss research and strategies for Memory & Recall, Challenge, Oracy, Word rich classrooms, SEN support, Knowledge organisers, Creativity, Reading and writing, Numeracy development, independent learners and so much more.
At Chorlton High School, we believe in developing Successful, Creative and Happy teachers and this event was a true exemplification of this vision. As a Teaching school, we pride ourselves on continuing to develop as a professional, collaborative learning community both within and beyond the school.
