"The Leftbehinds" Captivates Chorlton High

Post-Apocalyptic Adventure with The National Youth Theatre.

Chorlton High School was transformed by The National Youth Theatre's electrifying production of "The LeftBehinds." Co-created by Ross Willis and Ned Bennett, this thrilling post-apocalyptic adventure captivated students with its exploration of courage, friendship, and the fight for a future.

"The LeftBehinds" follows orphaned survivors on a quest to rebuild an android in a world ravaged by the apocalypse, delivering an unforgettable theatrical experience. This special performance brought genre-pushing theatre right to Chorlton High, allowing students to witness the power of live performance as lights crackled to life, sound boomed around, and actors ran through our audience.

Excitement continued with a dynamic workshop led by our guest performers. Students took this fantastic opportunity to explore theatrical creation, working together to devise new versions of the scenes they had just watched and gaining firsthand insights into creative techniques and methods.
