We could not be any prouder of our Year 11 students, the Class of 2024, who have conquered incredible challenges during their High school years. Today they are celebrating, alongside their teachers, after receiving a truly fantastic set of GCSE results!
The school is delighted to report that our students have achieved exceptional results, again, across all subjects areas.
Zoe Morris, Headteacher, paid tribute to the great dedication and commitment of students, staff and parents.
“This a wonderful set of results for our Year 11 students. Over the past few years we have regularly talked about the impact of the pandemic on young people, and this set of students have truly borne the brunt of this, as they were in Year 7 when the country first went into lockdown. Throughout this time they have shown great resilience and motivation, and it is, therefore, splendid to see our students achieving a set of truly wonderful results. I am incredibly proud of this group of students and wish to congratulate them all!
There have been phenomenal achievements with so many students achieving at the very highest level. However, what gives me the greatest pleasure is the consistent progress that our students make irrespective of their ability or starting points. We have had fantastic dedication from the students, unwavering belief from staff and such positive support from parents which is the perfect recipe for success.
I would also like to thank staff at the school who have endeavoured to ensure that all students, at every level, have an excellent foundation for future success. Our school is committed to and, as these results prove, succeeds in delivering uncompromising academic excellence while enabling students to learn from the rich cultural experience embedded in the Chorlton community.
I am really proud of all of our students’ achievements, and grateful for the unwavering belief from staff and such positive support from parents. Congratulations to all.”
