Home Learning: Success Beyond the Classroom

Home Learning is vital for student success throughout their 5-year Learning Journey with us!

It helps build essential skills like getting organised and time management – empowering students to become confident, independent learners.

What It Is and Why It Matters

Home Learning is work set by our teachers for students to complete outside of regular lesson time, and usually involve independent working.

These tasks are carefully planned as a key part of the curriculum designed to help students to:

  • Understand topics more deeply
  • Improve your results
  • Develop great study habits for the future

Where to Do Home Learning

Think 'work smarter'!

While often done at home, students don't always have to do it there. Sometimes it's better or easier to complete tasks at school, especially if they:

  • Need school resources (like computers, books, or equipment)
  • Find it easier to focus away from home distractions

We have spaces and support available in school to help all of our students succeed with Home Learning.
