One Education Reading Award

Chorlton High School is celebrating after receiving the One Education Reading Award at the Silver level, a testament to our students and staff dedication to promoting literacy.

The award signifies our school's achievement in creating a strong reading culture among our students, adhering to and evidencing a comprehensive criteria to foster a passion for literature. 

Reading is embedded deeply into the curriculum of each Year group, making literary discovery a powerful way to broaden learning. As we set our sights further, One Education Reading Award at the Gold level, we will focus on increasing parental engagement and boosting staff skills to further promote reading our commitment to enriching students' lives through reading.
