Members from our Year 8 and Year 9 School Council enjoyed training with FREEDOM PERSONAL SAFETY (FPS), a social enterprise, created to raise awareness, reduce risks and empower individuals to take control of their personal safety.
Through their 'Strong Safe and Resilient' programme, FPS provides informal workshops and safe environments for young people to help build their confidence and resilience whilst learning techniques to stay safe.
FPS aims to empower participants to take control of their own personal safety by focusing on self esteem, goal setting and increasing resilience, leading to more informed and safe decision making.
Our students would like to thank FPS and their FPS Instructor for providing a fun and insightful learning experience.
