Eat a Healthy Diet - Strategies

  • Make a food plan of what your meals will be the following week
  • Bake healthy treats that will give you sustainable energy
  • Drink enough water (between 2 and 3 litres a day)
  • Include 5 a day in your diet (fruit and vegetables)
  • Cut down on saturated fats; Fatty meat, cheese, butter, cream, pies, cakes and biscuits and sugar; fizzy drinks, sugary breakfast cereal, biscuits, sweets, cakes
  • Eat less salt n(6g a day is the limit) to reduce bloop pressure, and the risk of heart disease and a stroke
