Year Team Leaders
Hi year 7,
A really big, warm welcome to all of you. I am Mrs Wilson, your Head of Lower School. I am so excited to welcome you into the Chorlton High School family. From what we have heard from all of your primary schools we are going to be THE best year group CHS has ever had. I know we haven’t had the chance to meet in person yet, but we will have plenty of opportunities to get to know each other in September. Have a wonderful summer and o will see you in your new secondary school soon.
Hi Year 7,
My name is Ms Baxter, I will be your Head of Year in September and I am so looking forward to meeting you all. It has been a different journey for us all this year but your patience will be rewarded in September with the friendly welcome and family atmosphere we have here at Chorlton High School. I want to reassure you all that we as a school have taken every step we can to make sure you and your family feel at ease in September. We will have an induction day in September where you can come in and meet your form tutors and myself where we will start this journey together as a team.

Welcome to the wonderful family of Chorlton High School! Our base is in the Art department with me, Mrs Weeks and also Ms Needham. We are very excited to be starting your CHS journey together.
Hopefully you are going to spend your summer celebrating all that you have achieved in Year 6 and ready for the start of something very exciting at CHS!
7HW, we’re thinking of you all already!
Hi Team 7HW,
Welcome to CHS and welcome to the Art Department! I say that because you have not one but two art teachers as your form tutors - you lucky, lucky people!!!
My name is Ms. Needham; I have been working at CHS now for 11 years (I think!) I teach Art, Photography and am also Head of Art. I have worked and been friends with Mrs. Weeks for 4 years and we are so very excited to meet you.
I cannot wait to be part of your new adventure at Chorlton High, it may seem huge, it may seem busy and it may seem like everyone knows what they are doing and where they are going except for you – I can assure you that we will figure this out together. It is huge, and full of love, it is busy but its creative and exciting, and if you can't find where you need to be, just ask!
See you on the other side of the Summer Team 7HW
